SHIPPING POLICY
We're delighted to deliver your Oriole Designs jewellery to you. All orders are carefully packaged and dispatched from our studio in Berlin, Germany.
Delivery Times
- Germany: 2-4 business days
- European Union: 5-8 business days
- Rest of World: 7-14 business days
Please note that delivery times are estimates and may vary during peak periods or due to customs processing for non-EU destinations.
Shipping Costs
Germany:
- €7 standard tracked shipping
- Free shipping on orders over €100
International (Worldwide):
- €12 standard tracked shipping
- Free shipping on orders over €100
All shipments include tracking so you can follow your order's journey.
Order Processing
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days. You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been sent.
Please note that made-to-order and personalised pieces may require additional production time (typically 2-3 weeks). We'll notify you of any extended timelines when you place your order.
Customs and Duties
EU customers: No additional customs charges apply. Your order will be delivered with all taxes included.
United Kingdom: Orders may be subject to UK import VAT and customs duties. Most goods under £135 are subject to VAT at the point of sale, but additional charges may apply depending on the item value and type.
Switzerland & Norway: Orders may be subject to customs duties and VAT. Please note that these countries have specific import regulations despite their proximity to the EU.
United States: Orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes. The de minimis threshold is $800 USD - orders below this value are typically duty-free, though state and local taxes may still apply.
Canada: Orders may be subject to GST, PST, and customs duties. The de minimis threshold is CAD $150 for duties and CAD $40 for taxes.
Australia: Orders may be subject to GST and customs duties. The de minimis threshold is AUD $1,000 - orders below this value are generally duty-free.
New Zealand: Orders may be subject to GST and customs duties. The de minimis threshold is NZD $1,000.
Singapore: Orders may be subject to GST. The de minimis threshold is SGD $400 - orders below this value are generally duty-free.
Hong Kong: Most goods enter duty-free, but specific items may be subject to excise duties. Please check with Hong Kong Customs for details.
South Korea: Orders may be subject to VAT and customs duties. The de minimis threshold is approximately $150 USD.
UAE (Dubai): Orders may be subject to VAT (currently 5%) and customs duties depending on the item classification.
Japan: Orders may be subject to consumption tax and customs duties. The de minimis threshold is ¥10,000 JPY.
Other international destinations: Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by your country. These charges vary by location and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Important: All customs charges, import duties, and taxes for non-EU orders are not included in our shipping costs and must be paid by the recipient. Please check with your local customs office for specific rates and requirements before placing your order.
Tracking Your Order
Once dispatched, you'll receive an email with tracking details. You can monitor your shipment's progress through the carrier's website.
Delivery Issues
If your order doesn't arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at hello@orioledesigns.com and we'll investigate immediately.
For lost or damaged shipments, we work with our carriers to resolve issues quickly and will arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.
