Cumulus humilis Earrings

One late summer day, Oriole was flying over the north of the Netherlands, admiring the red-brick villages, the upright cyclists, and the endless meadows below. He landed in an open field to study the fluffy cumulus humilis clouds drifting overhead — their brilliant white cauliflower heads always made him feel cheerful.

All of a sudden, one of the clouds descended and very gently lifted him up. The wind increased, and Oriole found himself carried silently southwestward on a cloud formation. For once, he did not have to fly himself.

These earrings capture that moment of unexpected lightness — wear them as a reminder that sometimes the world simply lifts you up.
